A wide variety of fridge systems are available – CoolVan always specifies the best fridge for the job but if you have your own preference of fridge system then we can quote accordingly. Our standard specification incorporates fridge systems from either Hubbard (360AM) or GAH (Lance LC20S).
CoolVan determines chilled operation as being 0°C/+3°C and freeze operation as being -18°C. Bespoke conversions for deep freeze (-25°C) and heat/cool operation (up to +20°C) are available on request.
One popular additional extra is the electric plug-in facility known as Standby. This is normally single phase (standard domestic supply @ 230v) but we can specify 3-phase standby if so requested. Please note that most refrigeration systems will only operate with the vehicle engine operating. Standby allows the operator to pre-cool the load space and to use the vehicle for storage if so required. THIS IS AT AN ADDITIONAL COST to the above prices so please ask us to quote
